Cikarang, Indonesia—President University Model United Nations (PUMUN) Club is currently hosting its 6th annual conference of President Model United Nations (PresMUN) 2017 supported by International Relations study program. The event attended by Juliaty Sopacua (SDG Advisor United Nation Development Programme Indonesia), Ghilmansyah Ari (Community Engagement Manager of Youth Corps Indonesia), and Desy Anwar (Senior Anchor and Director of CNN Indonesia). The event will be held from September 13-16, 2017 at Hotel Celecton, Cikarang. As one of the best MUN Conferences in Indonesia, PresMUN has received high enthusiasm from both National and International delegates with 84 delegates of the total more than 200 applicants confirmed, including delegates from Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal, Thailand, Swazi, and Cambodia.
The grand theme of this event is “Equitable Prosperity: Re-Intensifying a Steadfast Global Cooperation" which is highlighting the idea towards inequality of resource distribution. In line with the theme, delegates are expected to discuss from the unprecedented level of humanitarian crises to cope with the threat of worldwide environmental change, neighbor security issues, as well as the futuristic crisis of human over-population. Press Corps committee is also provided for those who are interested in journalism, to wrap these pertinent topics in the four councils into professional level publication.
Since its first establishment in 2012, PresMUN has been improving its excellences through creating a unique experience and unforgettable experience for delegates, inviting remarkable speakers as well as offering the best hospitality. It consists of several sub-events such as keynote speeches, Press training, MUN Conference, Press Conference, Social Party and discussion panel which is conducted by European Union official and President University International Relations Lecturers.

Cikarang, Indonesia – President University Model United Nations (PUMUN) saat ini menyelenggarakan konferensi tahunan President Model United Nations (PresMUN) 2017 yang didukung oleh program studi Hubungan Internasional. Acara ini dihadiri oleh Juliaty Sopacua (Penasihat Sustainable Development Goals United Nation Development Programme Indonesia), Ghilmansyah Ari (Manajer Keterlibatan Masyarakat Youth Corps Indonesia), dan Desy Anwar (Pembawa Berita Senior dan Direktur CNN Indonesia). Acara akan berlangsung dari 13-16 September 2017 di Hotel Celecton, Cikarang. Sebagai salah satu Konferensi MUN terbaik di Indonesia, PresMUN telah mendapat antusiasme tinggi dari delegasi National dan Internasional dengan 84 delegasi dari total lebih dari 200 pemohon yang dikonfirmasi, termasuk delegasi dari Indonesia, Filipina, Nepal, Thailand, Swazi, dan Kamboja.
Tema utama dari acara ini adalah "Equitable Prosperity: Re-Intensifying a Steadfast Global Cooperation" yang berfokus pada gagasan mengenai ketidaksetaraan distribusi sumber daya. Sejalan dengan tema tersebut, delegasi diharapkan untuk membahas tingkat krisis kemanusiaan yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya untuk mengatasi ancaman perubahan lingkungan di seluruh dunia, isu keamanan, serta krisis futuristik dari populasi manusia yang berlebihan. Komite Pers Korps juga disediakan bagi mereka yang tertarik dengan jurnalisme, untuk membungkus topik-topik yang relevan ini sampai ke tingkat profesional dari publikasi.
Sejak didirikan pertama kali pada tahun 2012, PresMUN telah meningkatkan keunggulannya dengan menciptakan pengalaman unik dan tak terlupakan bagi para delegasi, mengundang pembicara yang luar biasa serta menawarkan keramahan yang terbaik. Acara ini terdiri dari beberapa sub-event seperti pidato utama, Pelatihan pers, Konferensi MUN, Konferensi Pers, Partai Sosial dan panel diskusi yang dilakukan oleh perwakilan Uni Eropa dan Dosen Hubungan Internasional President University.
Selanjutnya, panitia juga berharap agar delegasi akan menikmati acara ini dengan baik dan mendapat pengalaman yang benar-benar menakjubkan sampai tiga hari berikutnya. (PUMA IR)
