International Relations President University held a guest lecture titled “Searching Peace in Palestine” which was held at Charles Himawan Auditorium (10/10). The event was attended by Yahya Cholil Staquf (Katib Aam Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama), Dr. A.S Hikam (Former Minister of Research and Technology and lecturer of President University), and approximately 200 students and lecturers.
The guest lecture discussed the conflict between Palestine and Israel which has been going for 70 years and efforts that can be done by Indonesia which is a member of the United Nations Security Council to resolve the conflict between the two parties.
Program Studi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional President University menyelenggarakan kuliah tamu yang bertajuk “Searching Peace in Palestine” yang bertempat di Charles Himawan Auditorium (10/10). Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Yahya Cholil Staquf (Katib Aam Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama), Dr. A.S Hikam (Mantan Menteri Negara Riset dan Teknologi dan dosen President University), dan setikdaknya 200 mahasiswa serta dosen.
Kuliah umum tersebut membahas mengenai konflik yang terjadi antara Palestina dan Israel yang telah berlangsung selama 70 tahun dan usaha yang bisa dilakukan Indonesia yang merupakan salah satu anggota Dewan Keamanan Persatuan Bangsa Bangsa dalam upaya penyelesaian konflik kedua belah pihak.
