Wednesday, 28 January 2026—President University through its Accounting Study Program held Meet and Greet Series 24. Bringing the topic ‘From Manual to Digital – The Evolution of Accounting’ at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. The series is regularly organized by the Accounting Study Program to connect students with industry practitioners and provide insights into current professional developments.
The session featured Tiffani Christi, B.Acc., an alumna of President University’s Accounting Study Program Batch 2012 and currently a Manager at PwC, who discussed how digital transformation continues to reshape the accounting profession. Addressing concerns surrounding artificial intelligence (AI), she emphasized that technology should be viewed as a supporting tool that enhances professional capabilities rather than a replacement for accountants.
“AI cannot replace you, but it can help you analyze things more quickly,” she explained, highlighting that while digital tools enhance efficiency and data processing, human judgment and critical thinking remain indispensable.
She further underlined the importance of maintaining a human touch, especially within Big Four firms, where building trust and connecting with clients are essential aspects of the profession. Encouraging students to remain competitive, she advised them to continuously upgrade their skills and stay open-minded to avoid being left behind in a rapidly evolving industry.
