The International Office is active in conducting events that aim to introduce and blend cultures from and for our international students. Annually, we hold Pre-Uni International, as an introduction to life in President University and Jababeka and Cultural Festival, where the students both international and local can mingle and showcase their culture in the biggest cultural show on campus.
Smaller events include buddy programmes for inbound exchange students, cultural movie night, President University International Dinner (where international students showcase their cultural cuisines), and cultural trips to various cultural and historical sites around Indonesia aimed to give international students exposure to Indonesian culture and history.
President University has provided scholarships for international students since its establishment in 2001. In the last decade, however, the International Office has provided many inbound international students with scholarship opportunities and programs.
Scholarships such as DAAD's EMPM program, The Indonesian Aid Scholarship (TIAS), Darmasiswa program for learning Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian Culture, and the South East Asia Leadership program are among some of the ones we provide.
For Indonesian students, we have also provided many scholarship opportunities for mobility programs to other universities around the world, namely IISMA, CMK Hyundai, and numerous partner exchange programs.
