The Faculty of Engineering at President University successfully held its annual event, Technology and Science in Life 2025, with the theme “Transforming Science into Sustainable Solutions.” Open for registration from January 27th until the final round on March 22nd, the competition challenged high school and vocational students from across Indonesia to design innovative and sustainable prototypes. Using a provided proposal template, teams submitted their ideas, which were reviewed based on creativity and real-world applicability. A total of 19 teams participated, representing regions such as Palembang, Sidoarjo, Bekasi, Cikarang, Semarang, Gresik, as well as Bengkulu, North Sumatera, and other regions in South Sumatera.

Participants brought forward impressive ideas, including smart house technology, smart eye vision, gas guardian systems, smart vests, and eco-friendly paving blocks made from plastic waste. After a competitive selection process, the top five teams were invited to present their prototypes live at President University on March 22nd. The final round was filled with energy and excitement, exceeding expectations with the high quality of innovation and presentation.
