President University’s Information System Program Reconnects Alumni in Engaging Talk Show Event
March 22, 2025

President University’s Information Systems (IS) Study Program held its second alumni gathering, titled “Temu Alumni” on March 22, 2025 at the President Executive Club. This year’s event introduced a fresh format, transitioning from a traditional seminar to an interactive talk show and networking session. The gathering brought together 20 alumni from various professional fields, current IS students, faculty members, and high school students interested in technology careers, creating a dynamic environment for knowledge sharing and connection building.

The event featured insightful discussions led by alumni speakers including Dewi Mutiara Nurani, a Data Analyst at a private bank, and Muhammad Muslih, a Product Manager at ALVA. These industry professionals shared valuable perspectives on navigating the IS field, choosing specializations, and building competitive portfolios. Alongside the career-focused talk show, attendees participated in networking sessions, Q&A segments, and enjoyed student performances including musical and dance acts. The program also incorporated lighter elements like team-building games and a communal break-fasting meal, balancing professional development with relationship building.

By connecting different generations of the IS community, the event successfully created mentorship opportunities while showcasing the program’s impact on graduate careers. Current students gained practical advice on internships and career preparation, while prospective students received exposure to university life and industry possibilities. The chairperson of PUMA IS described the gathering as an unforgettable experience that blended learning with meaningful connections, reinforcing the value of maintaining strong ties between alumni, students, and the academic institution.
