President University Students Receive Online Intensive Training on Digital Accounting and Tax Platforms
August 31, 2025

31 August 2025 — President University organized a two-part intensive online training session via Zoom on the use of Mekari Jurnal and Mekari Klikpajak, two digital business platforms widely utilized by companies across Indonesia from the 1st until the 31st of August 2025. A total of 92 students took part in the program, reflecting the university’s continued commitment to ensuring that its students are not only academically strong but also professionally prepared.

Conducted in two integrated sessions, the training first focused on Mekari Jurnal, where students explored how modern cloud-based accounting systems operate in real business settings. Rather than learning accounting concepts in isolation, they directly practiced recording transactions, adjusting accounts, reconciling bank data, and generating financial statements within a digital system. Through this hands-on experience, students were able to see how automation improves efficiency, minimizes errors, and supports faster, data-driven decision-making in companies.

The second session introduced Mekari Klikpajak, guiding students through the digital tax administration process that businesses now rely on. From issuing e-Faktur to completing e-Billing payments and submitting e-Filing reports, participants gained a clearer understanding of how technology ensures compliance while simplifying complex regulatory procedures. The simulations allowed them to follow the workflow step by step, bridging the gap between theoretical taxation knowledge and its real-world application.

As accounting and tax practices increasingly migrate to digital platforms, technological literacy has become a core professional requirement. Through initiatives such as this two-part training, President University consistently demonstrates its approach to education—preparing students not only to understand concepts, but to apply them confidently using the same tools adopted by industry. By combining theory with direct exposure to professional platforms, the university strengthens students’ readiness to enter internships and full-time roles with a competitive edge in the evolving digital economy.
