President University Strengthened Students’ Professional Readiness Through Seminar on Bridging Generational Gaps in the Workplace

Friday, 17 April 2026—President University, through Economic Survival in collaboration with SetSail BizAccel, the university’s business incubator, held a seminar titled “Surviving the Multi-Generation Workplace: Strategy for Gen Z in Economic Survival Era” at the Auditorium, 5th Floor, President University Main Campus, Jababeka City, Bekasi, and online through Zoom and YouTube live streaming, as part of its ongoing efforts to support students in strengthening their professional readiness through practical exposure, portfolio development, internships, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The seminar featured Jazak Yus Afriansyah, S.E., M.M., Professional Motivator and Doctoral Student of Management at President University, who shared insights on how Generation Z can navigate today’s increasingly dynamic and competitive work environment.

During the session, he explained that workplaces today commonly consist of at least three different generations, each with distinct attitudes, preferences, and ways of working. He highlighted that generational differences frequently create challenges within corporate settings. He stated, “In corporate environments, there are many conflicts between generations. To bridge the gap, empathy is needed.”
