Monday, 15 June 2026 — President University, in collaboration with DFE-Tech, held Tech-Day 2026: Industry-Ready Engineering – Simulation, Innovation, and Real Practice at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Convention Center, President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. During the event, Dr. Keval Prajadhiana, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program at President University, explained how advancements in engineering simulation have made product design and analysis more efficient for today's engineers.

Keval described how simulation technologies have evolved significantly over the years. In the past, engineers were required to manually write simulation codes and configure every parameter themselves. Today, modern engineering software allows users to define design parameters more intuitively, making simulations faster, more accessible, and more efficient for product development.

“Previously, engineers had to write the simulation through coding and set everything manually. Today, you simply define the parameters, allowing the software to perform the simulation much more efficiently,” he said. Keval encouraged students to embrace these technological advancements, emphasizing that mastering modern simulation tools will help them work more effectively and remain competitive in the evolving engineering industry.
