Thursday, 3 September 2026 — Rector of President University Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., encouraged new students to make use of President University’s international environment from the beginning of their studies during the first day of PREUNI 2026 at the President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jababeka City. He noted that the university currently has students from 57 countries and shared three things students should focus on to prepare themselves for opportunities anywhere in the world.

Handa urged students to improve their English, build international friendships, and develop a portfolio while they are still at university. He encouraged students to use English in their daily interactions and to connect with international students through opportunities such as the International Buddy Program.

“You will fail at some of them, but keep trying,” Handa said, encouraging students to continue building their experience even when they face setbacks. He urged new students to use their time at President University to gain the skills, connections, and experiences needed to be ready for opportunities wherever they go.
