President University once again held the President University Nusantara Dinner (PUND), this time celebrating the vibrant culture of East Java. Taking place on the second floor of the PEC Campus on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, the event featured enthusiastic participation from students dressed in traditional East Javanese attire, proudly showcasing their regional heritage. The evening also included an inspiring keynote speech by Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of preserving and celebrating Indonesiaโs cultural diversity within the academic community.
A major highlight of the event was the authentic East Javanese cuisine. Guests were welcomed with the rich flavors of Rawon soup as a starter, followed by a refreshing serving of traditional asinan buah (pickled fruit). The dishes, prepared by chefs from East Java, offered a delicious and immersive cultural experience. Through this dinner, President University not only celebrated Indonesiaโs cultural heritage but also fostered a deeper sense of unity and appreciation among its diverse academic community.
