Thursday, 16 April 2026—The President University Myanmar Student Association (PUMSA) held the Myanmar Thingyan Festival at the President University Student Boarding House, Jababeka City, Bekasi.
The event was organized to introduce Myanmar’s cultural traditions while celebrating Thingyan, the Burmese New Year Water Festival. Through this celebration, participants were given the opportunity to experience the cultural significance of the festival, which symbolizes cleansing, renewal, and the welcoming of a new year.
The initiative also reflected the diverse international community at President University, providing a platform for students to share and appreciate cultural heritage while fostering a sense of unity among the campus community.
