Tuesday, 19 May 2026 — President University, together with Jababeka & Co. and President Club, hosted the President Club Series titled "Strengthening National Resilience in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" at the Menara Batavia President Lounge. The forum brought together leaders from government, academia, research institutions, industry, and public policy to discuss Indonesia's roadmap for Artificial Intelligence and its role in strengthening national resilience.
The event featured Nezar Patria, S.Fil., M.Sc., M.B.A., Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, as the keynote speaker. It also welcomed Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, CES., DEA., Chairman of the President University Foundation; Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, Ph.D., Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU., Member of the Board of Governors of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN); Sayed Musaddiq, S.T., M.M., PFM, CSA, CPMO., Founder and Managing Partner of Nalar Partner of Skha; Andrie Tjioe, President Director of PT ASIX Indonesia Cerdas; and Wahyudi Djafar, S.H., M.Si., Executive Director of Catalyst Policy Works as speakers.
Discussions highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration in developing Indonesia's AI ecosystem, strengthening digital talent, establishing responsible AI governance, and ensuring technological innovation contributes to national resilience. The forum also encouraged continued partnerships among government, universities, industry, and policy experts to prepare Indonesia for the opportunities and challenges of the Artificial Intelligence era.
