August 31, 2026

Thursday, 9 July 2026 — President University welcomed Athalla Hartiana Putri Hardian, Puteri Indonesia Intelegensia II & Influencer 2026, as a guest speaker for the Fashion for Professionals class at the Theater, President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. Continuing the series of sessions on professional appearance and personal presentation, Athalla discussed etiquette, first impressions, self-confidence, and the importance of embracing one's identity.

Athalla explained that etiquette is closely connected to how individuals present themselves, from the way they walk, stand, and speak to their body language and facial expressions. These elements contribute to the psychology of first impressions, where people often see and form judgments before getting to know someone more deeply.

She also encouraged students to embrace themselves and recognize their own strengths. According to Athalla, confidence comes from accepting who you are, while inner beauty requires just as much attention as outward appearance. She noted that looking good can also have a psychological effect, as feeling comfortable with one's appearance can help strengthen self-confidence.

As students prepare for professional environments, Athalla also introduced the concept of a capsule wardrobe, encouraging them to make thoughtful choices about what they wear and build a versatile collection that reflects their personal style. Through understanding themselves and presenting that identity confidently, students can create a more authentic and positive impression.
