Friday, 8 May 2026 — International Relations students from Batch 2024 staged a French theater performance of The Three Musketeers at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 4th Floor, Building A, President University Main Campus. The annual production was organized under the guidance of Dr. Jeanne Françoise, Advisor of the French Club and French Lecturer at President University, and attended by students, lecturers, high school students, and Madame Fetty Kartini, a representative of the Francophone community in Indonesia.
Adapted from the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas, the performance was part of the students' French language and cultural studies. Following last year's production of Napoleon, this year's performance introduced audiences to another iconic work of French literature, bringing French culture and storytelling to life through theater.
According to Dr. Jeanne Françoise, the annual production serves as a way to learn about and share French culture through entertainment. She also expressed her appreciation for the students' dedication throughout the preparation process. “I am very proud of the students for their hard work and dedication throughout this project. From preparing the costumes and stage properties to rehearsing and performing, everything required months of effort and teamwork. Through theater, we can learn about culture in a fun and entertaining way while bringing it closer to the audience,” she said.
