Thursday, 30 October 2025—Three students from the Informatics Study Program batch 2022, President University—Muhammad Daffa Ananda Budi, Mika Rahmat Ramadhan, and Rakaputu Banardi Azhar—won the Innovation Award at the AI Empowering Thousands of Industries Super League in China. Competing against student innovators from across ASEAN, they successfully demonstrated their technical expertise and creativity on an international stage.
For the competition, the team developed Michi, an AI-powered customer service assistant designed to help companies deliver fast, efficient, and responsive support. Equipped with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Michi can understand customer inquiries in everyday language and generate relevant responses automatically. It can also be integrated into various communication platforms, including websites, messaging applications, and social media channels, allowing users to interact anytime and anywhere.
Michi is further enhanced with machine learning capabilities, enabling it to continuously improve based on previous interactions. Through this innovation, companies can enhance customer satisfaction, reduce manual workload, and maintain consistency in handling inquiries. More than just a chatbot, Michi offers an intelligent solution that combines advanced technology, digital empathy, and operational efficiency to create a better customer service experience.
