November 11, 2025

Tuesday, 28 October 2025—President University held a guest lecture featuring Dito Ariotedjo, Indonesia’s former Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs (2023–2025), as part of the President University Guest Lecture (PUGL) series. The session took place at the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. His lecture focused on the topic “Why Sports Matter in Campus Life.”

Dito highlighted that sports should not be treated as a temporary trend. “If sports are only seen as a trend, they will not last. The real challenge is how to make sports appealing by emphasizing that they are part of a healthy lifestyle, not just for flexing,” he said.

He further emphasized the importance of strengthening sports culture from an early age. According to Dito, consistent exposure and structured opportunities are essential to nurture young talent. He noted that limited hours for sports in schools and campuses can hinder long-term development, stressing the need for broader access and support to ensure that sports become an integral part of students' daily lives.
