Wednesday, 8 July 2026 — President University welcomed Karina Moudy Widodo, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2026, as a guest speaker for the Fashion for Professionals class at the Theater, President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. Held as part of President University's collaboration with Puteri Indonesia, the session explored self-confidence, personal branding, and how fashion can reflect an individual's values and identity.

Drawing from her experience in pageantry, Karina explained that entering the pageant world comes with strict standards that can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, she encouraged students to redefine what it means to be perfect by focusing on becoming the best version of themselves rather than trying to meet every external expectation. “If you know your strengths and weaknesses, it is a great start,” she said.

Karina also highlighted the close connection between personal branding and social media today, encouraging students to be conscious of how they present themselves across different platforms. She emphasized that confidence should be built consistently until it becomes a habit, while consistency ultimately shapes how others recognize an individual.

As students prepare to enter different professional environments, Karina reminded them of the importance of understanding the occasion and adapting their appearance accordingly. “You can be anyone. Fashion and style are how you reflect your values,” she said, encouraging students to use fashion not simply to follow expectations, but as a way to authentically communicate who they are.
