Tuesday, 11 November 2025—President University held a guest lecture session at the Charles Himawan Auditorium featuring Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri, Puteri Indonesia 2025. The session was conducted under the Economic Survival Program for first-year students, with Fashion for Professionals serving as one of its key modules designed to strengthen students’ understanding of self-presentation and professionalism in the workplace.
During her talk, Firsta emphasized the strong connection between appearance, confidence, and performance. She shared that dressing well, wearing proper makeup, and presenting oneself neatly can significantly improve confidence when speaking in public. “If I dress well, do my makeup, and style my hair properly, I feel more confident speaking in front of you,” she explained.
She also highlighted the importance of aligning one’s appearance with one’s professional identity. Firsta asked students to reflect on perceptions, noting, “If I don’t do my makeup and only wear casual clothes, can you see me as Puteri Indonesia?” She concluded by encouraging students to present themselves in a way that reflects their aspirations, stating, “Whatever your profession is, you need to dress like your profession.” (Graciella V, PR Team.
