President University Hosted Guest Lecture with Abdulla Hassan on Networking the Future Economy Today
December 25, 2025

Friday, 5 December 2025—President University held a President University Guest Lecture at the Charles Himawan Auditorium featuring Abdulla Hassan, Global Mentor, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Dhow Capital, and Co-Founder of GICTC. Carrying the theme “Networking the Future Economy Today,” the session encouraged students to rethink how they manage time, build skills, and prepare themselves for a rapidly evolving global economy.

During the lecture, Abdulla Hassan drew inspiration from the life of Leonardo da Vinci, highlighting how one individual could excel in art, science, medicine, engineering, and innovation within the same 24 hours shared by everyone else. He emphasized that personal growth is not limited by time itself, but by how individuals choose to use it. “If you decide to value your time and focus on your objectives, you can be like Leonardo da Vinci,” he stated, urging students to develop discipline, curiosity, and clear goals as they navigate their academic and professional journeys.

He further stressed that maximizing one’s reach in the future economy requires building meaningful relationships rooted in trust. According to him, trust is not easily obtained and must be earned through consistent actions. He encouraged students to approach networking not merely as self-promotion, but as a process of contribution, emphasizing that the best form of networking begins by offering what one can do and gradually building trust with others through genuine collaboration.
