Friday, 31 October 2025—President University hosted the Closing Ceremony of the C Me Fly Overseas Youth Logistic Study Camp, a program organized by China Merchants Group and its subsidiary PT Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia (Sinotrans Group), at the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jababeka City.
The event marked the conclusion of a three-day international study camp, during which students took part in workshops, hands-on learning sessions, and global networking activities related to the logistics industry. This year, 35 President University students from five countries—China, Myanmar, Indonesia, Iran, and Kazakhstan—actively participated in the program.
President University was also recognized as the first university appointed by Sinotrans Group to participate in the C Me Fly program. This collaboration reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and provide students with real-world, global learning experiences.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Chairy, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector for Partnerships at President University, highlighted the significance of this collaboration for student development. “This is an important experience for all of our participating students to learn more. Recently, we have set up ICPI (Indonesia-China Partnership Institute), collaborating with several partners to strengthen our students’ capabilities. We look forward to future collaboration between President University with China Merchants Group and Sinotrans Group,” said Prof. Chairy.
Li Zhenghong, General Manager of PT Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia, also commended the students’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to keep learning. “May all students study diligently, keep forging ahead, and become the pillar for the country and society in the future,” he said.
The event was also attended by several distinguished guests, including Song Yifeng, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia; Prof. Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, M.M., Ph.D., Chairman of the Indonesia-China Partnership Institute; Chen Yao, Director of China Merchants Port; Heng Jianbin, Director of SITC Indonesia; Wang Ruqing, General Manager of China HuaDian; and Guan Qixiang, Deputy General Manager of PT Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia.
