Thursday, 20 November 2025—President University hosted a photography workshop at the Charles Himawan Auditorium featuring Peny Pujiati, a Certified Commercial Photographer and OPPO Product Ambassador. The session provided students with practical insights into commercial photography, with a particular focus on visual storytelling and marketing-oriented imagery.

During the workshop, the discussion touched on the growing trend of food photography, where images are designed to appear exceptionally clean, vibrant, and visually perfect for promotional purposes. Addressing concerns about whether such visuals create unrealistic expectations for consumers, Peny emphasized that this approach is a natural part of advertising.

“It’s okay and normal, because we should make the advertisement look attractive and appealing to attract the consumer,” she explained.
