Wednesday, 22 July 2026 — President University hosted Elizabeth Setiaatmadja, known as the “Queen of Networking,” for the guest lecture “From Leadership to Business Impact: Building Confidence, Network, and Innovation” at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus. She encouraged students to see networking, leadership, and meaningful connections as important assets alongside knowledge and intelligence.

“Networking is not collecting business cards, it’s building trust and relationships,” Elizabeth said. She encouraged students to help others sincerely rather than focusing only on what they could gain, emphasizing that strong connections are built through trust, listening, and consistent actions.

Elizabeth also reminded students that leadership starts before the title. She encouraged students to take initiative and develop their leadership through repeated actions, noting that mistakes are part of the process of becoming better. “You don’t have to be the highest GPA to succeed,” she emphasized, encouraging students to develop skills beyond academic achievement.

She further highlighted the importance of reputation and staying humble and teachable. By meeting people, remembering their stories, and building relationships from an early stage, students can create networks that may open unexpected opportunities and lead to future collaboration and innovation.
