June 17, 2026

Thursday, 14 May 2026 — As part of the Alumni Gathering in Hanoi, Vietnam, President University officially inaugurated the President University Vietnamese Alumni Association (PU-VAA), marking an important step in strengthening its growing international alumni network and advancing education diplomacy between Indonesia and Vietnam.

The establishment of PU-VAA reflects the significant presence of Vietnamese alumni within President University’s global community. From its early intake of 12 students from Vietnam in its founding years, the university has now welcomed and educated more than 150 Vietnamese students, spanning multiple generations of graduates from Batch 2001 to Batch 2022 (graduated 2025). This growing number highlights the deepening academic ties and sustained interest of Vietnamese students in pursuing higher education at President University.

PU-VAA is formed as a structured platform to connect Vietnamese alumni across cohorts, strengthen professional networks, and support long-term collaboration in education, industry, and cross-border engagement. The association is expected to further reinforce people-to-people connections and expand opportunities for academic and professional cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam.

The inauguration of PU-VAA during the alumni gathering underscores President University’s continued commitment to building a strong and connected global alumni ecosystem, while contributing to the broader framework of education diplomacy between the two countries.
