Tuesday, 14 January 2026—President University was selected as one of only nine universities across Indonesia entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to host the “Nonton Bareng Pernyataan Pers Tahunan Menteri Luar Negeri (PPTM) RI 2026” and the “Bincang Polugri” forum.
The event was held at the Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab), President University, and was attended by students and lecturers. The program began with a joint viewing of the Annual Press Statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, followed by the Bincang Polugri discussion session.
The Bincang Polugri session featured Ambassador Daniel Tumpal Simanjuntak, M.A., LL.M., as the main speaker. He currently leads the Directorate General of Economic Relations and Development Cooperation, a newly established directorate initiated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to strengthen the Ministry’s role in economic diplomacy and development cooperation.
From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the activity was attended by Dyah Lestari Asmarani, Secretary of the Directorate General of Economic Relations and Development Cooperation; Ditya Agung Nurdianto, Director of International Trade; Royhan Nevy Wahab, Director of Investment and Creative Economy; Awidya Santikajaya, Director of Resources and Industrialization; and Rina Setyawati, Director of International Development Cooperation.
