Friday, 19 June 2026 — President University welcomed Bingar Egidius Situmorang, President Director of PT Mustika Ratu, as the featured speaker at the President University CEO Forum, held at Theater 1 & 2, President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. The forum brought together students and members of the academic community to discuss the evolving beauty industry, changing consumer behavior, and how businesses can remain competitive through innovation and collaboration.
During the session, Bingar explained that beauty is no longer limited to appearance or cosmetic products but has become an essential part of modern lifestyles centered on health and self-care. He highlighted Asia as one of the fastest-growing beauty markets and noted that changing lifestyles and climate conditions have made products such as sunscreen and skincare everyday necessities. According to him, successful businesses should focus on addressing real consumer needs instead of simply following trends.
"Beauty is not just about products. It is more than that. Even during economic downturns, people continue to invest in affordable skincare because beauty is also about self-care. Businesses need to answer what consumers truly need, not just follow trends. We also have to embrace new technologies and collaborate because we cannot do everything ourselves. The only way to survive and grow is to collaborate," he said.
