Monday, 15 June 2026 — President University, in collaboration with DFE-Tech, hosted Tech-Day 2026: Industry-Ready Engineering – Simulation, Innovation, and Real Practice at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Convention Center, President University Main Campus, Jababeka City. The event brought together students, academics, and industry professionals to explore the latest engineering technologies and strengthen the connection between classroom learning and industrial practice.
Representing President University, the event featured Ir. Yosef Barita Sar Manik, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Eng. Ir. Lydia Anggraini, S.T., M.Eng., Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program; and Dr. Keval Prajadhiana, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program. They were joined by Riqy Rizqyandra, Application Engineer at DFE-Tech Indonesia, and Farhan Rosman, Application Engineer at DFE-Tech Malaysia, who shared practical insights into engineering simulation technologies and their applications in today's manufacturing industry.
Throughout the event, students first gained insights into engineering simulation, innovation, and industry practices through seminar sessions delivered by President University faculty members. Their understanding was then reinforced through hands-on workshops led by the DFE-Tech team, where participants explored professional engineering software, including Ansys Mechanical & Electronics and Cast-Designer. The combination of academic perspectives and real-world applications reflected President University's commitment to preparing students with practical, industry-ready engineering competencies.
