President University and ASAKI Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Industry Collaboration and Talent Development

Thursday, 4 June 2026 — President University and the Indonesian Ceramic Industry Association (ASAKI) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the opening of KERAMIKA Expo 2026, the 11th edition of Indonesia's largest international ceramic exhibition, at the NICE Exhibition Center, PIK 2, Jakarta. The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration in talent development, industry engagement, and educational partnerships.

The MoU was signed on behalf of President University by Fransiska Wiratikusuma, Vice Rector for International Partnerships at President University, representing Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Rector of President University, who was unable to attend due to official duties. Under the agreement, President University and ASAKI will collaborate in areas including talent development for the ceramic industry, university-industry partnerships, internships and industrial training, applied research, and the sharing of educational resources to better prepare graduates for the evolving needs of the manufacturing sector.

The signing ceremony took place alongside the opening of KERAMIKA Expo 2026, which was attended by Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. Through this partnership, President University reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with industry by creating more opportunities for students and faculty to engage with real-world industrial developments while contributing to innovation and the sustainable growth of Indonesia's manufacturing sector.
