Wednesday, 22 July 2026 — President University hosted H.E. Ratu Isoa Delamisi Tikoca, Ambassador of Fiji to Indonesia, for the “President University Ambassador Lectures: Bilateral Relations between Indonesia and Fiji” at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus. Speaking to students, he highlighted the importance of integrity, trust, and mutual understanding in building lasting relationships, both between individuals and nations.

“Universities are where tomorrow quietly begins. They will become leaders of tomorrow,” he said, encouraging students to recognize how their decisions and character today shape their future. He also emphasized that integrity goes beyond honesty, requiring consistency between what people say and what they do, even when no one is watching.

H.E. Ratu Isoa explained that the friendship between Indonesia and Fiji, which dates back to 1974, has grown beyond diplomatic relations into connections between communities. He noted that in international relations, a country's influence is not determined solely by economic power, but also by the trust and confidence it builds with others

He further encouraged students to embrace diversity by developing respect and understanding. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together,” he said, reminding students that relationships and collaboration play an important role in shaping societies and the future of international relations.
