Wednesday, 15 July 2026 — President University, in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and PT Jababeka Tbk, held the AI Open Innovation Workshop “GPU-Accelerated Deep Learning & Prompt Engineering with RAG” at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Main Campus, Jababeka City as part of the AI Open Innovation Challenge 2026.

The workshop was designed for semifinalists to master the AI tools needed to further develop their solutions. Held in a hybrid format, the session brought together participants onsite at the FabLab Main Room and through Zoom, with 37 participants attending onsite from universities and public competitors across Jabodetabek.

The workshop was delivered by Nicholas Dominic from Lintasarta, the technology provider for the AI Open Innovation Challenge 2026. He introduced Deka Notebook: GPU-Accelerated Deep Learning and Deka LLM: Prompt Engineering and RAG through practical tutorials.

The session was opened by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Erwin Parasian Sitompul, S.T., M.Sc. The workshop was also attended by Nursyamsu Bachtiar, Head of West Java and Banten Commercial at Lintasarta, Paulus Raharja, Account Executive at Lintasarta, and lecturers from the Faculty of AI and Smart Manufacturing (FAISM).
