Wednesday, 12 November 2025—The President Development Center (PDC) of President University, in collaboration with ASUS and Sentral Komputer, held the ASUS x Sentral Komputer Goes to Campus seminar titled “From Knowledge to Innovation: The Role of AI in Modern Technology” at the President Executive Club (PEC), Jababeka City.
The event opened with remarks from Rudy Subrata, Advisor of PDC, who emphasized the urgent need for human resource development in the midst of rapid technological progress. “Technology keeps advancing, but if our human resources cannot keep up, it becomes difficult. That is why we bring our speakers today—to expand our knowledge,” he said.
The first session featured Riffan Octaviandy, Regional Trainer ASUS for Jabodetabek, who highlighted how AI has significantly increased efficiency in daily tasks. “AI is a solution. Before, without AI, I needed four days to prepare all of this. Now, I can complete it in three hours,” he explained, emphasizing the transformative potential of AI-driven productivity.
While AI provides tremendous support, it should not be trusted blindly. Users must still verify information, as AI is not always accurate and may generate misleading or incorrect responses. This message was reinforced in the next session by Adrian Lesmono, Consumer Business Lead NVIDIA Indonesia, who discussed the limitations of AI systems. “Sometimes when you ask something and the system doesn’t know the answer, it forces a response using pattern recognition. That is what causes AI hallucination,” he noted. Adrian reminded students that what truly differentiates individuals is their own knowledge—combined with AI, not replaced by it.
