March 10, 2026

Sunday, 8 February 2026 — President University held the National Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Month 2026 Gathering titled “K3 Experience Day: Dari Pengalaman Nyata Menuju Budaya K3” at the Faculty of Medicine building, President University, Jababeka City. Conducted as part of the Health Movement 2026 program, the event brought together Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professionals, Human Resource (HR) representatives, supervisors, and K3 practitioners to discuss the importance of strengthening occupational safety culture.

The session featured several speakers from government and professional institutions, including Ida Farida, M.Si., Head of the Manpower Office of Bekasi Regency; Rozana Aryani, M.Si., Head of Lemahabang Community Health Center; Marlina Bhekti Hatmanto, Manager of HR at PT Techno; and Edwina Rudyarti, M.Sc., from the Bekasi Health Office.

Throughout the discussion, the speakers emphasized that K3 plays a crucial role in protecting both workers and companies from potential injuries, health risks, and financial losses. However, they noted that workplace safety cannot rely solely on regulations or company policies.

The forum highlighted that creating a safe work environment requires shared responsibility between employers and employees. In many cases, companies may establish safety procedures that are not fully followed by workers, while in other situations workers expect stronger safety enforcement from management. Therefore, the speakers stressed that K3 should not only be treated as a regulatory requirement but must be cultivated as a shared culture of safety actively upheld by both companies and workers.
