Thursday, 30 July 2026 — President University’s Internship and Career Center (ICC) held “Preparing for Smart & Sustainable Career Opportunities” at the Auditorium, President University Main Campus. The session featured Mustain Mahrus, HR Lead Batam & LAC (Korea, Taiwan & Japan) at Schneider Electric, and Andhyka Jeannataya C., Supply Chain Management - Upstream at Schneider Electric, who shared insights into internship and career opportunities at the company.

Mustain encouraged students to be selective when choosing an internship and to seek experiences that provide meaningful learning. “Don’t look for an internship just to fulfill a requirement. It won’t bring reliable value to your life,” he said, emphasizing that internships should help students build relevant skills rather than simply fulfill academic requirements.

He also encouraged students interested in engineering to develop a strong understanding of the components and processes within their field. Reflecting on President University’s academic foundation, Mustain noted that students are on the right track in preparing for international and industry-oriented careers.

Andhyka shared his own experience as a former Schneider Electric intern who was later offered an opportunity to join the company full-time. “When we get more involved, we get to understand the process and how things are done,” he said, encouraging students to actively participate and make the most of every opportunity to learn during their internships.
