Monday, 26 January 2026—President University held an International Relations Alumni Sharing Session at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University Campus, Jababeka City, Cikarang, Bekasi, under the theme “Why Future Diplomats Should Be Financers Today: Debunking Myths on IR Study Program and Career in the Finance Industry.”
The session featured two alumni of the International Relations Study Program: Nabil Fendri Prabowo, Financial, Procurement, and Retail Business Auditor of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, and Christlife Glory Manembu, Emerging Business Banking Relationship Manager of PT CIMB Niaga Tbk.
Opening the session, Muhammad Sigit Andhi Rahman, Ph.D., Head of the International Relations Study Program, emphasized that the program encourages students to apply their understanding of International Relations beyond traditional diplomatic careers. “We are trying to encourage students to use their understanding of International Relations not only in traditional diplomatic fields, but also as actors across various sectors,” he stated. He further noted that IR graduates are increasingly contributing to various industries, particularly the private sector, where their analytical and global perspectives remain highly relevant.
