The Interior Design Department of President University held an event titled Interior Show, which took place from June 23rd to 25th. The event began with a student exhibition on June 23rd–24th, showcasing various interior design projects such as working areas, commercial-residential spaces (like shop houses), and custom-designed furniture. Each project was accompanied by an informative poster detailing the design concept, layout, materials, and other key elements. One of the highlights was a project from the Economic Survival course, although the physical products were not displayed as they had either been sold or previously exhibited at international furniture shows. This event served as a platform to provide a closer look at academic activities within the Interior Design program, especially for prospective students who are unfamiliar with the field.
As the closing activity, a seminar and workshop will be held on June 25th, sponsored by Profiting, the official partner of the event. During these sessions, participants will be divided into small groups to engage in project-based activities, with winners selected based on their group outcomes. More than just a creative showcase, Interior Show is designed as an educational and interactive space that blends learning, collaboration, and insights into the interior design industry. Through this event, students can demonstrate their practical skills, while the public gains firsthand insight into how Interior Design is evolving into a dynamic and application-driven academic discipline.
