Friday, 5 December 2025—During the Friday Night Reunion held at the President Lounge, Batavia Tower, Jakarta, Rector of President University Handa Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. highlighted the university’s significant growth since its establishment.

In his address, Handa outlined President University’s development over more than two decades, noting its expansion from 48 students in 2002 to more than 10,000 students in 2025, as well as growth from two study programs to 27 study programs. He also highlighted the university’s achievement in obtaining the highest rating from QS Stars, reflecting its academic quality and institutional progress.

Handa further pointed to the expansion of President University’s presence beyond its original Jababeka campus, which now includes campuses in Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Tanjung Lesung, and Roblox. Reflecting on the university’s long-term aspirations, he remarked, “When will PresUnivers become president? Right now we have Irene Umar, the Vice Minister of Creative Economy.
