Monday, 10 March 2026—President University reaffirmed its commitment to global engagement during the Forum Silaturahmi Ramadan Bersama Insan Media. The event was held at Gedung Dewan Pers, Jl. Kebon Sirih, Jakarta. The session placed particular focus on the remarks delivered by the Rector, Handa Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D.

In his speech, Handa emphasized that President University continues to actively contribute to educational diplomacy, recognizing it as a strategic pathway to strengthen Indonesia’s global presence. Highlighting the importance of collaboration, he stated, “If we work alone, the impact will not be as significant as when we work together,” underscoring one of the key reasons the forum was held. Which is to build stronger alignment between the education and media sectors.

He further explained that welcoming international students to Indonesia not only enriches academic diversity but also contributes to generating foreign exchange for the country, positioning higher education as a valuable sector in national economic development.

Beyond economic impact, Handa underscored the long-term value of fostering friendships between nations through education. He shared that international students who live and study in Indonesia often develop a deep sense of appreciation and connection toward the country, ultimately becoming informal ambassadors who carry positive impressions of Indonesia to the global stage.
