Saturday, 4 October 2025—Another proud achievement was recorded by the Faculty of Medicine, President University. Tasya Camelia, Batch 2024, earned the “Most Informative Essay” award in a scientific essay competition organized by the Pain and Palliative Clinic of Brawijaya University Hospital as part of PALIAFEST 2025.
Tasya’s essay, titled “PRIVE (Palliative Response via Integrated Vital Evaluation): An IoT-Based Wristband with Early Warning System for Monitoring Vital Signs and Managing the Psychosocial Well-being of Palliative Patients at Home,” proposed an innovative approach to strengthening palliative response through integrated vital evaluation. The competition, which was open to the public, drew around 90 participants, from which Tasya was selected as one of the Top 10 finalists before receiving the award. (Graciella V, PR Team.
