On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, President University welcomed H.E. Tomas Ferko, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Indonesia, for an insightful lecture on Slovakia-Indonesia bilateral relations. The event, held at the President University Convention Center, shed light on the historical ties between the two nations, from their early diplomatic engagements to their current strategic partnerships. Ambassador Ferko emphasized Slovakia’s growing interest in strengthening economic, political, and cultural relations with Indonesia, highlighting the mutual benefits of cooperation.
A key focus of the discussion was the economic collaboration between the two nations, particularly in trade and investment. Ambassador Ferko spoke about Slovakia’s advancements in technology and manufacturing, encouraging Indonesian businesses to explore investment opportunities in Slovakia. He also highlighted collaborations in education and tourism, underscoring the potential for student exchange programs and cultural initiatives that can further enhance mutual understanding between the two countries.
