Empowering Career Creating Impact
June 17, 2025

On July 17, 2025, President University, in collaboration with the General Education Course Team and the Internship Career Center, successfully held a program titled Social Impact Experience: Empowering Career, Creating Impact at Building B. This initiative aimed to raise awareness, particularly among studentsβ€”about the importance of basic career preparation skills, such as writing a CV and resume, as well as preparing for job interviews. Many individuals, even within the university environment, are still unfamiliar with these essential skills, especially when it comes to using English in a professional context. To address this, the program was designed as a comprehensive training that not only presented information but also provided hands-on practice.

The event featured sessions on professional English language use, mock interviews conducted from start to finish, resume and CV writing workshops, and one-on-one consultations to review and correct participants' documents. Interestingly, the participants were not limited to President University students, 105 individuals from various backgrounds attended, ranging in age from 18 to 48 years old, with the majority coming from outside the university. This high level of public interest highlights the growing need for accessible and practical career development programs. Through an inclusive and engaging approach, the program delivered meaningful social impact by equipping participants with the skills needed to enter the workforce with greater confidence and competence.
