Monday, 20 July 2026 — President University’s Electrical Engineering Study Program held PLC Fundamental Training for its students at the Fabrication Lab (FabLab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), President University Main Campus. The training was delivered by Muhammad Reza Pahlevi, Director of PT Alpha Karya Mechatronics, to introduce students to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and their applications in industrial control systems.
The training covered fundamental PLC concepts, wiring, programming, and implementation using Schneider PLC. Students practiced normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) circuits using buttons and lamps, interlock concepts and their implementation, as well as conveyor control using buttons, an interlock system, and proximity sensors.
The training provided students with a foundation for understanding PLC-based control systems and practical exposure to technology commonly used in industrial settings.
