Wednesday, 8 April 2026—President University held the inauguration of Prof. Dr. Anton Wachidin Widjaja, S.E., M.M., Professor of Strategic Management and Dean of the Faculty of Business, at the President Executive Club, Jababeka City, Bekasi.

During the event, Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., M.T., IPU, Secretary of the Directorate General of Science and Technology, representing the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, delivered his remarks, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and integrity in higher education.

He expressed his support for lecturers to pursue professorship, stating, “If lecturers do not become professors, it is an overlooked opportunity. Today’s inauguration marks an important milestone in an academic journey.”

He also acknowledged President University as a pioneer institution with “Unggul” accreditation, highlighting its strong international collaboration as one of the best higher educational institutions in Indonesia.

Furthermore, he stressed the mandate of the Directorate General of Science and Technology in upholding academic integrity, particularly in scientific publications. He emphasized that institutions must avoid not only plagiarism, but also fabrication and falsification.
