President University Lyrics Unplugged (PULU) event on April 23rd, 2025, featured musician Chintya Gabriella as the main speaker. The event, held in Theater Room 2, aimed to provide insight and inspiration from a musician’s perspective, introduce Chintya’s body of work, and foster a closer connection between the artist and the university’s students. The event was opened by a mesmerizing vocal performance by two President University students, followed by an opening remark by the Rector of President University, Dr. Handa Abidin. Chintya’s first performance of the day was a song titled “Nikmati Perjalanannya,” which she wrote in Bali. She expressed her joy and appreciation for the opportunity to perform at the university.

During the talk show segment, Chintya shared insights into her creative process, revealing that she typically dedicates one or two full days to songwriting, during which she composes lyrics and melodies simultaneously. Chintya’s love for singing began at a young age and grew as she started posting song covers on Instagram in high school. Her participation in Indonesian Idol Season 9 marked her first major exposure to the music industry, where she reached the second elimination round and gained valuable experience despite the challenges.

Chintya emphasized the importance of commitment, consistency, and support from loved ones in pursuing a singing career. Looking ahead, she shared her ambition to go international, perform her own music around the world, and collaborate with global artists. The event served not only as entertainment but also as an inspirational platform for students interested in music. 

Through this event, President University reaffirmed its commitment to supporting student growth beyond academics by providing direct access to industry professionals and fostering an environment where creativity, passion, and ambition are celebrated. By organizing interactive sessions like PULU, the university helps students gain valuable insights into real-world career paths and encourages them to pursue their dreams with confidence.
