Pre-University Day 2025 officially opened on 28 August 2025 at the President University Convention Center (PUCC), marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Batch 2025 students. The event began with a warm welcome from Rector of President University, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., who introduced the university as “the most international university in Indonesia” with the highest number of international students in the country. He highlighted that beyond being international, President University offers a portfolio-building curriculum designed to support students in achieving their biggest dreams. Encouraging students to think boldly about their future, he reminded them: “Work hard, study hard, work smart, study smart—but don’t forget to have some fun.”
Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, Chairman of the President University Foundation, further emphasized the unique learning environment of the university. He expressed that President University is home to students from across Indonesia and around the world, where learning goes beyond textbooks and extends into shared experiences. He motivated the freshmen to embrace this opportunity to grow academically, socially, and culturally, closing his speech with the spirit-filled message: “Let’s make this year unforgettable.”
Adding to the inspiration, Irene Umar, Vice Minister of the Creative Economy and Creative Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, also welcomed the students into the President University family. She called them the chosen generation, embarking on a meaningful life journey. She encouraged students to dream as high as possible, but also to take concrete action toward those dreams, reminding them that they are future leaders. “Make every day count, take steps toward a better future, and dream with action,” she said, underscoring the importance of finding one’s life purpose and building a meaningful future together.
