Awareness Meets Action in President University’s Sustainability Drive

President University reinforced its dedication to sustainability through a virtual seminar hosted by the Human Resources (HR) Department. Held on Friday, April 11th, 2025, the event featured Yosef Barita Sar Manik, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., CLCA, a key figure in the university’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Committee, as the keynote speaker. He emphasized that sustainability is about meeting present needs without compromising future generations, aligning with the United Nations’ 17 SDGs. Since 2010, the university has prioritized sustainability rankings and remains committed to continuous improvement. 

The seminar highlighted President University’s initiatives to integrate sustainability into its operations. Dr. Manik encouraged practical steps, no matter how small, to contribute to a greener future. The event served as both a reminder and a call to action for the university community to collaborate in achieving these goals, further solidifying its role as a leader in sustainable development.
