January 21, 2025
Friday, 21 February 2025, the Information Systems Study Program at President University (Presuniv) collaborated with Epicor, a leading provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for the manufacturing sector, to deliver a training session for students. The event featured Andy Mulyawan, Territory Manager of PT Epicor Software Indonesia, who presented on Global Manufacturing Trends That Influence Regional and Local Markets.

During the session, Genta Sahuri, S.Kom., M.Kom., a lecturer from the Information Systems Study Program and Head of Student Affairs at Presuniv, emphasized the importance of learning ERP systems. “Today, ERP systems are widely used by companies to manage their operations. Many businesses have already integrated their systems using ERP. By partnering with Epicor, we aim to ensure that you stay updated with the latest technological advancements,” he stated.

Andy highlighted that Presuniv students are in a highly strategic position for their careers. “You are studying here, in the largest industrial area in Southeast Asia. You are learning in English and you are given opportunities to develop essential career skills. Make the most of this opportunity,” he emphasized.

According to Andy, those aspiring to work in international companies must develop skills that align with the necessary skills required by industries—among them is ERP. “Some of your seniors have interned on my projects, and the results speak for themselves. Students who understand ERP concepts can adapt to corporate ERP systems much faster than those who haven’t studied them. I hope to recruit some of you for my future projects,” he added.
