On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv) received a visit from industry representatives at the Fabrication Laboratory, President University Convention Center, located at Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. Industry representatives included Andy Mulyawan, Territory Manager, Adhi Firmansyah, S.Kom., MBA, Country Manager, and Jalal Setiawan, South East Asia Business Solution Manager, all from Epicor Software, as well as Dedy Arif Purnomo and Freddy from PT Sutanto Arifchandra Elektronik (SAE). Dozens of Faculty of Engineering students also attended the visit.

During the session, Andy Mulyawan shared insights on Global Trends in the Manufacturing Industry and Solutions from Epicor, discussing Epicor’s role in the manufacturing sector and its various challenges. Adhi Firmansyah provided an overview of current trends in the software industry, emphasizing the importance of adapting to technological changes, as well as career opportunities in the industry. Adhi also offered advice on how to prepare to enter the competitive job market.

Additionally, PT Sutanto Arifchandra Elektronik (SAE), through their Kitani Goes to School and Goes to Campus programs, presented information on the cable industry.
