On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), held a seminar titled “The Process of Property Development in Jababeka.” The event took place at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor of Building A, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. The seminar’s speaker was Abdul Said Ahtar, S.Ars., MUDD, Business Development Manager of PT Jababeka Tbk., and the session was moderated by Selly Veronica, ST, MT, a lecturer in the Architecture Study Program.

According to Abdul, one of the most crucial elements an industrial area must have is access. “Access to water, toll roads, and various other facilities is very important in development. All of this must be included in the master plan. So for, whatever area we are going to develop, we make a master plan,” he said. Besides creating a master plan, several other aspects need attention when developing an industrial area. “Check the existing regulations and we need to have a financial plan to realize the master plan,” he added.
