On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the Accounting Program from the Faculty of Business at President University (Presuniv) hosted the “Having Fund 2024” event in the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, 5th Floor, at Presuniv’s campus in Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. This was a collaborative event between the Accounting Program, MNC Sekuritas, and Avrist Asset Management aimed to enhance students’ financial literacy under the theme The Benefits of Knowing Mutual Funds.

The event focused on introducing students to the importance of investment, particularly mutual funds, as a straightforward and secure choice for beginners. Representatives from MNC Sekuritas and Avrist Asset Management provided insights on long-term investment concepts, explaining a variety of instruments suited to individual needs and risk profiles.

The session featured two key speakers, Wesley Paraja Guguk, Senior Marketing APRD from MNC Sekuritas, and Tukul Rusyidi Khairi, Manager of Avrist Asset Management. Both speakers shared their knowledge and experience on mutual fund investments in a practical, and easy-to-understand manner. They also provided a step-by-step guide on starting investments with small amounts, encouraging students to manage their monthly savings wisely and incrementally.
