Advancing Medical Education Through Collaborative Student Forums
June 05, 2025

The Faculty of Medicine at President University recently held an engaging student discussion forum in Training Room 1. Nine medical students participated in this session, where they analyzed and debated various patient cases presenting different complaints and symptoms. The students worked collaboratively in small groups to share insights and deepen their understanding of the clinical scenarios. This interactive format encouraged critical thinking and fostered effective communication among peers, as they prepared to present their findings and reasoning.

On June 5th, 2025, the discussion was closely supervised by dr. Riyan Sopiyan, who evaluated the students’ presentations, critical thinking skills, and overall comprehension of the material previously covered in their coursework. The main goal of this forum was to assess the students’ progress and understanding of clinical knowledge, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world medical challenges. This dynamic learning experience reflects President University’s commitment to nurturing competent and thoughtful future healthcare professionals.

President University’s Faculty of Medicine is dedicated to providing students with practical and reflective learning opportunities that bridge theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. Through activities like these, students develop critical analytical skills, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and build confidence in patient management. These experiences are vital in preparing students to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, aligning with the faculty’s mission to cultivate skilled, compassionate, and ethical medical practitioners.
